Axxon Next supports all 64-bit installation bit distribution packages based on Debian 9, Debian 10, and Debian 1011, including Ubuntu 18, Ubuntu 19, and Ubuntu 20.

The stable operation of the Client is not guaranteed on Ubuntu 18 and 19. It is recommended to install only Axxon Next Server. Both the Client and Axxon Next Server are supported on Ubuntu 20 and newer versions. If Axxon Next is installed on AstraLinux, only the SE 1.6 version is certified and supported. |
The Client can be installed only after installing the Server of the same version.
Updating the OS will not affect the Axxon Next performance; still. Still, it is recommended to make a backup copy of the configuration before updating the OS (see Backing up a configuration).
