To simplify configuring of the xml_titles.txt file use the specialized utility. The xml_test.exe utility is designed to debug captions above the video image when working with XML protocol of the POS terminal module. The xml_test.exe utility is a part of the POS SDK utilities and libraries package. To launch the utility download the POS SDK archive, extract files and launch the POS_SDK\XML_Protocol\Xml_test.exe executable file.

If sending data are in DOS coding, it's required to launch the advanced settings utility tweaki.exe and set the Convert DOS to Windows codepages (2) checkbox in the POS (1) section.

The xml_text.exe utility contains three windows:


XML-log received from the POS is loaded to the first window. Logs are saving in the <Axxon <Axxon PSIM software installation directory>\Modules\PosCapture folder. Name of log file is pos_N.log, where N − number of POS-terminal corresponding to POS from which log was received.

Ensure that the Save data to file checkbox (2) is set in the POS PSIM(1) section of the tweaki.exe utility if there are no logs in this file.
