To protect a record, create a bookmark (one - a special case of the annotation tools) operator comment (see Operator comments).

To create a bookmark, do as follows:

1. Select the required camera on the layout and proceed switch to the archive mode (see Switching to Archive Mode).

   If you need to protect the same time interval in multiple camera archives, switch the necessary cameras to the archive mode.

   
   

2. Set the protected time interval on the timeline in the archive with the  and  buttons buttons (see The Timeline).
   
3. Click the  in button in the Camera video surveillance window.
4. Enter a comment (1).
   
5. Check Set the Protect box checkbox (2).
6. Check Set the All (3) box checkbox if you need to protect the specified interval for from all cameras currently in the archive mode.
7. Click the Save button (4).

The protected interval will be highlighted in light grey while , and its beginning will be marked with .

Click the Image Added button to delete the specified protected interval in the archive.
