1. Go to the DB tab on the Operator protocol object settings panel (1).

   Parameters Parameters set at Axxon PSIM ™ software installation are used by default to connect to the database server.

   
   

2. Set the connection parameters in one of the following ways:
   1. Click Connection dialog and set parameters for connecting to an external database using the standard dialog box – see Configuring the database server connection in a dialog mode (2).
   2. Set connection parameters manually:

      1. In the Server field, set the name of the database server to connect to (3).

         Working in the distributed configuration it is needed to enter the name of the computer without the (local) value where the database is stored. For example, "WS1\SQLEXPRESS", where WS1 is the name of the computer on which the database is stored.

         
         

      2. In the Folder field, set the name of the database to store events (4).
      3. In the User field, set the username for the authorization on the database server (5).
      4. In the Password field, set the password for the authorization on the database server (6).
3. Click Apply.
