The Short Message Service (SMS) is used for sending short messages to mobile phones about alarm events registered by in Intellect software. A short message is sent automatically upon registration of any of the events specified in the corresponding macro.

Actions with on Intellect objects can be performed when a SMS short message is received. Macros, programs in the language embedded in Intellect or Jscript scripts are used for this. When the sms a short message is received, the SMS object sends the RECEIVE event in to Intellect (see SMS).
