By default, a single Video surveillance monitor displays all Surveillancewindows related to it. The buttons on the top left side of the tools panel toolbar are used for changing the number of surveillance the Surveillance windows displayed on the monitor.

If the display of the Control panel is disabled (see Setting the parameters of the Monitor interface box), then the Surveillance windows will be positioned automatically in such a way as to fill the area of the Monitor interface window. Moreover, if the the Keep camera ratio parameter is disabled, then the video image in the Surveillance windows will be "stretched" or "compressed" to the width of the Monitor interface window.

The  button button is used to display a single selected Surveillance window, the other buttons are used to simultaneously display a certain number of windows (4, 6, 9 or 16)  on on the Video surveillance monitor.  The The set of displayed buttons changes automatically depending on the maximum number of video cameras corresponding to the this Video surveillance monitor.

There is a special layout with 6 Video Surveillance Windows windows featuring one Video Surveillance Window window larger than other five. This layout has certain restrictions mentioned below. The special six windows layout can only be displayed by the  button while the Tools panel button if the toolbar is enabled in the Video Surveillance Monitor. See pictures the figures below for examples of six windows layout with and without the Tools panelthe toolbar enabled and disabled.

Double left clicking click in the Surveillance window on any layout, except for the six layoutswindows layout, allows increasing the size of the Surveillance window, while some Surveillance windows will be hidden on the Video surveillance monitor. Double right clicking click on the video image allows returing to the original layout.

The mouse control for Managing the number of the Surveillance windows number with the mouse can be altered changed with the registry keys (see Registry keys reference guide). When using the MaximizeCameraOnDblClk registry keydouble left clicking click switches the Surveillance window to the single layout mode from any layout, including the six layout mode. Also, the transfer to one - window layout and backwards back can be enabled with the UseOneClkToMaximizeOrMinimizeCamera key.

Note. The first mouse click of the mouse button in the Surveillance window activates enables the camera, so if the window is not initially active, two clicks will be required to enlarge.

In addition, the number of the video surveillance windows can be changed using the custom layouts - see Windows layout on the monitor. However, the left double - click always increases enlarges the viewing Surveillance window to the full-screen single layout modeentire Video surveillance monitor. Moreover, if the user custom layout is selected, the layout mode buttons icons are disabled, regardless of the number of the Surveillance windows displayed on the selected layout.

If GreenStream is configured (see Configuring an auto select of video stream for displaying), then when changing the number of Surveillance windows and scaling the video image, the video streams used for their display can be automatically changed.

The Monitor tools panel Video surveillance monitor toolbar can be disabled due to unavailable if the system setupis configured accordingly.

If the Overlay 1 mode is enabled during the system setupconfiguration, then the surveillance Surveillance window scaling by double - clicking is disabled, and the surveillance Surveillance windows layout cannot be changed.
