To create a regionRegion, do the following:

1. Create a the Region object.
   
   1. Select Create object => Region in the context menu of the Area object.
      
   2. Type-in

      Enter the number and the name of the object in the corresponding fields (1).

      The number of the object should be in the range from 1 to 65534.

      
      

   3. Click the Apply button (2).

      As a result, the settings panel for of the Region object appears will be displayed.

      
      

2. Configure the created Region object.
   
   1. Type-in Enter the general description of the Region in the Description field (1).
      

   2. In From the Name list of the In charge table, select the user responsible for this region (2).

      The Name list consists of the usernames names of the users registered in the system (see see User registration and removal section).

      
      

   3. To save Click the changes click the Apply button (4) to save the changes.
3. Create the links between the Region object and the objects in the Hardware tab that are to will be included into the Region. For this select the name of the created Region object on the settings panel of the object selected in the Region list (see Examples of using areas and regions section).
4. After creating the links listed described above, the list of the objects added to the region is displayed in the Objects included into in region table (3) on the Region object settings panel. This table cannot be edited.

The Region is now created.
