To configure detection tool:

  1. Assign a template with a detection tool to the camera, e.g. Moment Quest (see Assigning templates to cameras).
  2. Click the camera on the Cameras tab; the settings menu opens.
  3. Select VideoChannel → Motion Detection → VisualElement. The detection zone is displayed in the preview box as a result.
  4. Adjust the detection zone by dragging the nodal points.
  5. Click to save changes.

The detection tool is now configured.
