To transfer the Intellectsoftware database  database from one server to another, you need to create a database backup copy on the source server and then expand it on the new one.

If the configuration backup copy is created in MS SQL Server 2008, it can be expanded in MS SQL Server 2014. But if the backup copy is created in MS SQL Server 2014, it cannot be expanded in MS SQL Server 2008.
