The Control device object is for configuring used to configure the joysticks integrated in through the Drivers Pack (see Drivers Pack documentation).

Create and configure the Control device object under on the basis of each corresponding Computer object in order to use the same joystick to control the PTZ devices on the Video surveillance monitors Monitors of corresponding different computers.
For example, you should create the Control device object under on the basis of both the Server and the Workstation Remote Client to control the PTZ camera on both the Server and the Workstation Remote Client using the same joystick.

Configure To configure the Control device object as follows, do the following:

  1. Create the Control device object under on the basis of the Computer object on the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog box (1).
  2. Select From the device manufacturer from the Vendor drop-down list, select the device manufacturer (2).Select the device
  3. model from From the Model drop-down list, select the device model (3).
  4. Select the firmware number from From the Firmware drop-down list, select the firmware number (4).
  5. Enter In the Address field, enter the device IP-address in the Address field (5).
  6. Enter In the Port field, enter the device connection port in the Port field (6).
  7. Enter In the User field, enter the user name to connect to the device in the User field (7).Enter
  8. In the Password field, enter the password to connect to the device in the Password field (8).
  9. Set In the Sensitivity threshold (0 - 100) field, set the joystick sensitivity threshold in the Sensitivity threshold field (9). The threshold is measured in the logical elementary shift units in the range from 0 to 100 and means the maximum shift along any of the axes at which the joystick movement messages do not arrive in aren't received by Axxon PSIM.
  10. Set the minimal In the Min. speed (0 - 10) field, set the minimum joystick speed in the logical elementary shift units in the Min(10).
  11. In the Max. speed field (0 - 10) .Set the maximal field, set the maximum joystick speed in logical elementary shift units in the Max. speed field (11).
  12. Click the Apply button (12).

The Control device object configuration is now complete.
