Cluster is a group of independent computers operating together as a whole system providing clients with a general set of services. Cluster enables expanding both accessibility of services and scalability and controllability of their OS.

To set up a cluster fot INTELLECT™for INTELLECT, stick to the following rules:

  1. INTELLECT™ INTELLECT is to be installed on all the computers forming the cluster;.
  2. INTELLECT™ INTELLECT configuration (paths to the installed INTELLECT™ INTELLECT software and video archive disks) is to be identical on all computers;.
  3. All computers, forming the cluster, are to be in one network domain;.
  4. All computers are to run one OS Windows Server;.
  5. If the Intellect software is installed as a service, the InheritServiceEnvironment registry key must be created and set to 1 (the key is created in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ITV\INTELLECT\IntellectRunService\ section for 32-bit and in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ITV\INTELLECT\IntellectRunService\ for 64-bit systems);.
