To configure alarm handling processing in the system, you must perform do the following steps:

1. Go to Settings → Options (1)→ Alarm processing (2). 
   

2. In the Time period of operator reaction to alarm field field, enter the time during which an operator who accepted an alarm for processing and exited alarm mode without evaluating it must return to alarm mode the alarm should be taken into processing, otherwise it will be assigned the Skipped status (3). The minimum value is 2 minutes.

3. Set the slideshow interval of alarm layout (4, see Working with Special layouts). After the specified time has elapsed, the alarm will be removed from the layout and its place will be taken by the next one, which has not yet been displayed on the layout.

4. Select the alarm classifications assessment, after accepting which the operator is required to enter a comment (5).

5. Click the Apply button.

Configuration of alarm handling processing is now complete.
