Displaying layouts on monitors
You can display layout on any hardware monitor of a Client. To do it, follow do the steps belowfollowing:
Click anywhere on the local Client 's monitor layout diagram on the Monitor Panel (see Monitor Panel).
Info title Note. Client monitor management falls under is regulated by the user rights (see Creating and configuring roles).
Monitors expanded views will open.
Info title Note All connected Clients have the NetBiosName name.
Info title Note Each monitor has its unique ID number. To display the ID number of a monitor, click the button.
The thumbnails may appear differently, depending on the status of the monitors in Axxon Next.

To display the layout on the monitor, you have todo the following:
Click the + button on the non-distributed additional video monitor's thumbnail. The additional monitor becomes active, and the layout of the main monitor is will be duplicated to on it.
Set up a layout on Configure the layout of an additional monitor (see the Configuring layouts section). You can configure the layout of the additional monitor through the main monitor (the additional monitor must be active). Changes affect only the additional monitor; the layout of the main monitor is not changed.
Click the main monitor's thumbnail. The additional monitor becomes inactive, and the original layout is displayed on the main monitor. If the additional monitor becomes inactive, editing of the layout does not affect it.
To display a currently camera selected camera on the main monitor on the additional monitor, do the following:
Click the
button on the non-distributed additional video monitor.- Selecting a camera on the primary main monitor makes its video feed visible on the additional monitor.
The additional monitors are now configured.
Editing layouts
To edit a layout on an additional monitor, do the following:
- Activate the additional monitor (by clicking its thumbnail).
- Edit the layout.
- Make the additional monitor inactive.
Selecting cameras to display on the layout
You can change select the set of cameras to that should be displayed on the main or and additional monitor using the Objects Panel; these changes are not saved, and the initial layout is restored after rebooting the Client. To do it, follow the steps below:by dragging and dropping them:
in the cell of the main or additional monitor diagram from
- Open and lock the Monitor panel (see Monitor Panel).
- Open
the Objects Panel (see Objects Panel)
. Using the Ctrl or Shift keys, select one or several cameras on the panel.
Left-click on any selected camera.
Drag the camera icon onto a desired cell on the main or additional monitor's layout diagram.
Release the mouse button.

You can also move a Similarly, you can drag and drop not only individual cameras, but also group of cameras, all cameras from a of the Server or an Axxon-domain.

The changes are saved only until you restart the Client. The next time you start the Client, the layout will have the original view. |
Closing the layout of the additional monitor
You can close main and additional monitor views separately. To close an additional monitor in Axxon Next, click the button on its thumbnail.
