You can select only one of the specified object types (you cannot select several at once), because different events are used for different object types. The table will list all object types All types of objects that are available in Intellect that you useyour Intellect software will be listed in the table:
You can use the line with filters (1) to quickly find the required objects and events. Each filter works applies only for the table below it. You can enter letters, numbers and characters to search. The names can be entered fully or partly.
To set the checkboxes next to all names of objects of a particular type, right-click in any place of the Object name table, and in the context menu, click Select all. To clear all checkboxes, click Reset all (2).
To set/clear the checkboxes next to all events, you can click Select all/Reset all in the context menu of the Object events table. You can also select certain events for one object, and then copy the selection to other objects of this type. To do this, select Copy for all objects from the context menu. For example: Camera 1 has the checkboxes set only next to the Disarmed and Connection lost events. After you click Copy for all objects in the context menu, only the checkboxes next to the Disarmed and Connection lost events will be set for all cameras.
- You can select objects and events in two ways:
- Select them with the Ctrl key pressed. In this case, the lines of the selected objects and events will be highlighted in gray and blue:
- Set the checkboxes next to the required objects and events:
- Select them with the Ctrl key pressed. In this case, the lines of the selected objects and events will be highlighted in gray and blue:
- As a result, there are different button the buttons for setting Logic, Priority, Timer, and Autoescalation will be different:
The sets applies the selected setting only for the objects and events that were selected with the Ctrl key pressed (regardless of the selection color—blue or gray); button
The sets applies the selected setting only for the objects and events next to which the checkboxes are set. The setting doesn’t apply to objects and events highlighted in blue. button
Depending on how you select the required Object name, the Object events table will display the following events:
- the events from the object selected by clicking its name. If several objects are selected in the Object name table, the events are displayed for the object that was selected first.
the events from the object next to which the checkbox is set. If several checkboxes are set, the events from the object selected last will be displayed.
- To clear all checkboxes in all tables, click the button in the lower left corner. To exit without saving the changes, click the button.

On the Filters tab of the Incident handler object, click the Add button.
- In the opened Add window, in the Object type table, select left-click the required object type by left-clicking to select it (1).
In the Object name table, set the checkbox next to the name of the object, the events from which you want to add (2).
The Object events table will display all possible events for this object. Select the events for displaying and handling by setting the checkboxes next to the necessary ones, without highlighting the line with color (3).
- If necessary, set the Logic for the selected object events (the Logic must be created earlierbeforehand, see Creating and configuring the logic of event handling):
Select the required Logic from the drop-down list (4);
- Click the Set for checked objects/events button (5).
- If necessary, set the Priority (6, 7), Timer, s (8, 9), and Autoescalation (10, 11), similar to Logic—see the previous step. The functionality and options for these settings are described in detail in Selecting events to display and handle.
- Repeat steps 2-6 for all required objects.
- Click the OK button (12).
As a result, the selected object events will be added to the Filters tab of the Incident handler with the specified logic, priority, timer and autoescalation settings. For the The example shown in the figure , below shows the result after you click the OK button, the result will be the following:
To save the result, click the button.
Similarly, you can add events by selecting the required objects and events by clicking them (to select several at once—by clicking them with the Ctrl key pressed). In this case, to set the Logic, etc., the Set for selected objects/events button is used.

Solution:
- Select the Camera object type and select Camera 3 Object object name by left-clicking.
- Set the checkbox next to the Connection lost event.
- Select Logic 1 from the drop-down list and click the Set for checked objects/events button below it.
- Set the checkbox next to the Connection event and highlight it with color by clicking it.
- Select Logic 2 from the drop-down list and click the Set for selected objects/events button below it.
- Click the OK button.
