To enable the archiving of the video signals archiving, going passing through the Videogate, it is necessary to select the disks for archive storing.

To select the disks for storing the archive of the Videogate module, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel of the Videogate system object.

2. Names The names of the local (netnetwork, USB) disks, accessible available for stroing the archive of the Videogate module are given in the Disk column Disk (1).

   For Windows Vista and Windows 7 OS with connected UAC enabled, it’s necessary to connect net the network disks through via the command prompt line with Administrator’s rights.   The way of connection method is described in Connecting network disks in Windows Vista and Windows 7 OS part.

   To use net network disks as an archive,   set the UNC paths to them in Intellect software. 3. In the column GB there is a size of GB column, you can see the free space on disk in GB (2).
4. In the column Video put the check mark for Video column, set the checkboxes next to the disks, selected for storing the archive of the Videogate module (3).
5. To add a net network disk via entering specifying the UNC path, do the following:
   
   1. Go to the last line in the Disk disks list and click the Down key.
       
   2. Enter the path to a net file in In the appeared line in the Disk column, enter the path to a network disk. The UNC  path path is set in format «the \\server_name\share_name»name format, where «serverserver_name»  name is file server’s name and  «share_name» is net name of generalfolder.the name of the file server and share_name is the network name of shared folder.
   3. In the Video column, set the checkbox next to the created diskSet the checkbox for created disk in Video column.
6. To save the set changes, click the Apply button (4).
