The micromodule architecture of Axxon One video management software allows implementing different video management system functions as different operating system processes. Each function is the responsibility of a different micromodule; a dispatcher module monitors the functioning of the micromodules. If a function encounters an error and a process is quit unexpectedly, the dispatcher module automatically relaunches the corresponding micromodule. This does not affect the performance of other processes or the functioning of the VMS overall.

Drivers Pack

IP camera devices support in Axxon One is provided through the Drivers Pack Module specially developed by AxxonSoft and regularly updated to support new IP devices.

Multistreaming

Many of today's IP cameras devices can transmit two video streams with different video parameters and compressed in different codecs. Axxon One supports Multistreaming i.e. receiving two streams from a camera simultaneously: high-quality and low-quality, which allows taking advantage of this feature of IP equipment to optimize the CPU load on the video Server and the Client workstation.

AxxonSoft is a member of ONVIF (the Open Network Video Interface Forum), which work toward the development and promotion of international standards for network security and video surveillance system interfaces. ONVIF is supported in Drivers Pack.

RTSP support

Many IP cameras devices support multimedia streaming via RTSP. Axxon One supports receiving such streams without requiring integration of the relevant camera via Drivers Pack.

Support for analog cameras in Axxon One

Alongside IP camerasdevices, Axxon One allows you to use analog cameras in your video surveillance system. Analog cameras are more affordable and are well-suited for many installations without high video resolution requirements. In addition, Axxon One allows creating hybrid systems that combine both analog and IP cameras.

Object Cloud archive

Object Cloud archive is an object file system for storing video archive in cloud storage (for example, Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure). Using an object a cloud archive allows you to reduce the price of data storage and set up flexible integration with AxxonSoft VSaaS. According to Amazon, the reliability of using an object a cloud archive is up to 99.999999999%.
