The following packages are required to install Axxon One:

axxon-drivers-pack_3.73_amd64.deb 
axxon-detector-pack_3.8_amd64.deb 
axxon-one-core_1.9.0_amd64.deb 
axxon-one_1.9.0_all.deb

axxon-drivers-pack_3.73_amd64.deb

To install the Axxon One Server manually, do the following:

1. Add the repositories by sequentially running the following commands:

   To download the packages, run one of the following commands:

   If you install Axxon One on Ubuntu 22, then after running the commands from the step 1, you should sequentially run the following commands to install PostgreSQL version 10 compatible with Ubuntu 22: Code Block sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt $(lsb_release -cs)-pgdg main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pgdg.list' wget --quiet -O - https://www.postgresql.org/media/keys/ACCC4CF8.asc | sudo apt-key add -

   Server only:

   Server and Client:

   By default, the files are downloaded to the /var/cache/apt/archives folder. If it is necessary to download the files to another folder, run the following command:

   update sudo apt-

   d

   get

   axxon

   -

   one

   y install

   -o=dir::cache=/home/user/Downloads/

   postgresql-10

   
   

2. To install Axxon One, DetectorPack, DriverPack, and DetectorPack add-ons, contact AxxonSoft and get the necessary packages from the manager.

3. Copy the received packages to the Downloads folder

   In this case, the packages will be downloaded to the /home/user/Downloads folder.

   If you plan to install the downloaded packages on another computer with no Internet access, then the OS version on that computer should match the OS version of the computer on which the packages were downloaded

4. To install the previously downloaded packages, run the command:

   sudo dpkg -i /home/user/Downloads/axxon-d*.deb || sudo apt-get install -f -y

   where
   user − —user name;
   Downloads − folder —folder with downloaded packages.

   Example of packages required to install the server side:

   Example of packages required to install the Server in the Failover mode:

   Example of packages required for the Server and Client installation type:

   • You must install DetectorPack with add-ons and DriverPack before installing the main part of Axxon One. 

   • The folder must

   The folder should

   • not contain other packages.

   • It is not allowed to simultaneously install the regular Server and the Failover Server.

   During the installation, the installer will request the name of the domain for the Axxon One Server. If you leave this field blank, you can later specify it on the Client at the first connection.

5. If necessary, you can change the Server configuration after installation (see Axxon One Server configuration change on Linux OS).  

Installation is complete.

You can install the Axxon DetectorPack and Drivers Pack from the repository. To do this, sequentially run the following commands:

sudo apt-get install axxon-drivers-pack 
sudo apt-get install axxon-detector-pack

The Axxon DetectorPack and Drivers Pack should be installed from the repository before installing the main part of Axxon One.
