Types of user permissions to hardware, archives and macros

Axxon One has several types of user permissions for interacting with equipment, archives and macro commands:

User permission typePriorityUsage
Object

Highest priority (above all other types of permissions)

Configuring access to a specific device, archive or macro in the system

GroupPriority below Object permissions

Configuring access to all cameras added to a group (see Creating a Group object).

If the camera belongs to several groups with different access levels assigned to them, the user permissions with the highest access level are used. If the camera belongs to a child group, then the permissions defined for the child group will take precedence when determining access to the camera

DefaultPriority below Group permissions

Configuring access to all devices, archives or macros that will be created in the system. If the device does not have Group or Object rights assigned, then the default permissions apply

InheritedPriority is automatically inherited from Default permissions or Group permissions

Configuring access to all devices, archives or macros created in the system
