There are two options to update Axxon One in on Linux OS: from the repository and from the folder.

  1. To update Axxon One from the repository, sequentially run execute the commands as a root:

    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get upgrade


  2. To update Axxon One from the folder, do the following:
    1. Go to the folder with the downloaded packages.
    2. Run Execute the following command:

      sudo dpkg -i *

These options describe an update within one version of Axxon One (for example, from 1.0 to1.9). If you want to update from Axxon One 1.0 to Axxon One 2.0, you should first update the repositories. The repositories and the commands are specified in the item 1 on the page Installing from repository.

After the update is completed, you must it is necessary to check the access rights of the archive file and the folder where it is stored.
The ngp user must should be specified as the owner of both the file and the folder.
