NumberInterface elementDescription
1Workspace

Displays the information about the areas on top of a video image

2The High Accuracy Modeflag checkboxNot used in this version
3The Start Time Of The The field

Not used in this version.

Note. It specifies the start time that will be used as the base for sending the timestamps. The frame timestamp is calculated as the TIME_STAMP = (START_TIME + FRAME_NUMBER * 1 / FPS), where FPS means “Frames per second”, and FRAME_NUMBER is the zero frame index

4Freeway flagThe Freeway checkbox

Enables/disables the freeway mode. Should Must be activated for a freeway where the vehicles are moving fast and non-stop

5The FailSafe Detection ON flagON checkbox

Enables/disables the check of the the video signal availability check

6Number of Zones

Displays the number of zones in the workspace

7The Add New Zone Zone buttonAdds a new zone to the workspace
8The Delete Current Zone button

Deletes the current (highlighted in red marks) zone from the workspace

9Enabled flagThe Enabled checkbox

Enables/disables the processing of the selected zone

10The Directionality drop-down list

Enables/disables the check of the vehicle direction check:

  • Hard detection of vehicles will be limited to the cars that move in the right direction, or the cars that stopped in the zone;
  • Soft maintains a high level of detection of vehicles that are moving in the wrong direction, but slightly weakens the detection;
  • Off vehicle direction check is disabled
11The Shadow Suppr. drop-down list

Controls the shadow suppression algorithm:

  • Soft soft shadow suppression;
  • Hard hard shadow suppression;
  • Off disables the shadow suppression algorithm
12The WD Checkflag checkboxChecking Wrong Direction. Enables/disables the visualization of cases when the vehicle moves in a direction totally opposite to the originally set direction (orange color)
13Cars Per Zone drop-down list

Allows specifying the number of vehicles that are "visually" in the zone, if you place them one after another. For detection of stopped cars usually a value of 1 is specified, and the zone of the corresponding size is automatically set, and the entire roadway is filled with these zones. As a result, it becomes possible to create wide, stretched zones that cover the whole or most of the lane compared to when you create several zones of the “single vehicle”.

  • AutoDetect − automatic detection;
  • Car − 1 vehicle;
  • 2 Cars − 2 vehicle;
  • 3 Cars − 3 vehicle;
  • 4 Cars − 4 vehicle
14Suggested Cars Per Zone fieldSpecifies the estimated number of vehicles that are "visually" placed in the zone. It is directly associated with the Cars Per Zone parameter
15Sensitivity sliderIndicates the sensitivity level of the vehicle detection in the selected area
16Work Mode drop-down list

Indicates the operation mode of vehicle detection:

  • Optimal (default) − provides the most balanced and accurate vehicle detection;
  • MinFD − provides a good level of vehicle detection, with less false triggerings;
  • MaxTD − provides the maximum level of vehicle detection, but sometimes it can produce additional false triggerings
17Lane ID fieldIndicates the identifier of the lane associated with the selected zone. This information is used by the IV vehicle detection module for better detection accuracy
18Auto reset time fieldIndicates the time in minutes used to reset the zone if the zone is in the busy state longer than the specified time (default = 0, which means disabled)
19Vehicle Counter flagEnables/disables the counting of the number of vehicles
20Speed Measuring flagEnables/disables the measuring of the vehicle speed
21Length Measuring flagEnables/disables the measuring of the vehicle length
22Debug Window flagEnables/disables the debugging mode
23Show Stats Per Period flagEnables/disables the displating of the statistics once in a time period
24Use STAT Calibration Information buttonDisplays/hides the rectangle within which the statistics are calculated
25Save Config buttonSaves the current settings to the settings file in .json format, which then should be specified when configuring the IV vehicle detection object (for details, see Setting up the IV vehicle detection parameters)
26Load Config buttonLoads a settings file in .json format
27Run button

It is used to return to the Traffic Monitor window and start monitoring
