When the cluster is configured, it is necessary to connect the client to the node. Do the followingTo do this:

  1. Start the Client (see Starting Axxon One Clientthe client).
  2. Enter the IP address of any cluster server (1) and click the  button.

  3. Select from the list the node you want to connect to (2). Enter the first characters of the node name into this field, and the fast search starts.
  4. Enter the username and password (3) and click the Connect button (4).

...

You can then merge nodes into a unified logical structure following standard procedures of Axxon domain configuration (see Configuring Axxon domains).

Note
titleAttention!

An Axxon domain cannot include nodes from different clusters.

If necessary, you can switch the domain operating mode to a cluster domain. To do this, create a system variable NGP_ENABLE_CLUSTER_DOMAIN (see Appendix 9. Creating system variable) and specify the value: 1—enable the cluster domain mode, 0—disable it.

Note
titleAttention!
  • This variable must be created on each Server in the cluster where domain nodes will be running.
  • When the NGP_ENABLE_CLUSTER_DOMAIN variable is enabled, the nodes will belong to the domain in which they were created.
