  • Before configuring a distributed system, be sure to consolidate your Servers into the Axxon- domain.
  • When consolidating the Servers into the Axxon- domain, each Server should must have a unique IP address.
  • Only unallocated Servers can be added to the Axxon- domain. Unallocated Servers are the Servers that don't belong to any Axxon- domain.

There are two ways to add a Server to the Axxon-a domain, depending on whether or not it is present in the search results (in the the Unallocated servers group).

The Server will then be added to the Axxon-a domain from the the Unallocated servers group.
Since the search for the unallocated Servers is conducted using the broadcast packets, the results may not include Servers located in a different subnetwork (for example, beyond a router that blocks broadcast packets).
In this case, you can add a Server to the Axxon-a domain manually. This option can be used with all unallocated Servers, including those present in the the Unallocated servers group.

To add a Server to the Axxon-a domain manually, do the following:

The Server will then be manually added to the Axxon-a domain.
After a Server is added to the Axxon-a domain using any of the methods described, it will be displayed in the objects tree.


If a Server is not available when it is added to the Axxon-a domain, it will be displayed in the objects tree with the the  icon.

The Server will be added to the Axxon-a domain when it becomes available. To undo adding a Server to the Axxon-a domain, select the Server and click the the  button.
