Select Start → All Programs → Axxon One → Axxon One.
Info title Note - You can start the Axxon One Client from the Axxon One Tray Tool utility (see Axxon One Tray Tool트레이 도구).
- Axxon One executable file Axxon One.exe is located in the <Axxon One installation directory>\Axxon One\bin\ folder.
To start the Client in the safe mode with OpenGL software emulation, select: Start → Programs → Axxon One-Axxon One (safe mode).
When the Client is running in the safe mode, the frame rate decreases.
The Axxon One Client will then launch and an authorization window will open.
Info title Note Starting the Client when the system is working in the failover mode is described in Connecting to a Node and Configuring of an Axxon domain.
Select a Server to connect to, and specify a port number.
Tip Note title Attention! The Client version and the Server version, to which you connect, must match. The DriversPack version must be the same as well. If the Server version is older than the Client version, you will be prompted to update the Client automatically (see Automatic update of a remote Client). We strongly recommended to avoid any connections if the product versions don't match.
Info title Note If a remote user connects to the Server, the name or the IP address of the computer with which the connection is established must be entered in the Server name or IP address field.
The order of the Servers in the list is the following:
- Preferred Servers (see Selecting Preferred Servers).
- The last Server that was connected to.
- Other Servers in alphabetical order.
Enter the username and password and click the Connect button.
Info title Note When you log into the system for the first time, use the username root, which has administrator permissions. Enter root into the Username and Password fields.
A window will open in which you must enter a new password.
When you hover the cursor over the
icon, a tooltip will appear in which you can see the requirements for the new password (see Configuring the user security policy). Click the Apply button to save the new password.The administrator then needs to configure the system for multi-user access (for details, see Configuring user permissions 사용자 권한 설정).
Tip If the system administrator must confirm the user access (see Creating and configuring roles), enter the corresponding username and password and click the Connect button.
If authorization is successful, a video surveillance monitor will be displayed on the screen.

When you first start the Client, the archive settings tab opens (see Configuring archives 아카이브 설정). After you create the archive, you will be automatically switched to creating IP devices (see Adding and removing IP devices IP 장치 추가 및 제거). IP Device Discovery Wizard will launch automatically. |

If Axxon One is running in the Axxon One Demo mode, then after you enter the authorization parameters, a corresponding message will be displayed (see Axxon One in Demo mode). |
If the Server to which you connect doesn't belong to any domain, after you click the Connect button in the authorization window, a message will be displayed. 
To connect to the Server, you must either create a new domain based on the Server or add the Server to an existing domain.
If you choose the first option, click Apply in the message and follow the instructions given in Creating a new domain. For the second option, click the
button and follow the instructions given in Adding a Server to an existing domain.
