To switch from a different surveillance mode to the Archive mode, click the Playback tab in the lower-right corner of the Camera Window.

  • If a camera is not linked to a video archive and has no on-board storage, this tab will be not available.
  • If the video camera is in archive mode and the video is paused, then after you drag another video camera into its place (from the object tree, search panel or map), the new video camera will remain in archive viewing mode, and the video will be paused. If the video is playing, the new camera will also be displayed in the archive view mode and the video will be played.

You can also switch from Live Video mode to Archive mode if you select a position on using the advanced archive navigation panel (see see Advanced Archive Navigation Panel).

In Live Video mode, if the viewing tile is not active, the tabs for switching to other modes and the advanced archive navigation panel are not displayed. To activatedisplay them, click the viewing tileon the video surveillance window with any mouse button.

 To switch all cameras within a layout to Archive mode, click the Playback button on the upper panel.
