To configure the Multiple Objects, do the following:

  1. Create the required detection tool and specify its parameters (see Creating detection tools).
  2. Below the created detection tool, click Create… → Multiple Objects.

By default, the detection tool is enabled and triggers when the number of objects in the detection area exceeds the value specified in the detection tool settings.

If necessary, you can change the detection tool parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

Basic settings
Maximum object height100

Specify the maximum object height as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool to trigger. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100].

Maximum object speed500

Specify the maximum object speed per second for the detection tool to trigger. The value must be in the range [0, 500].

When configuring the Multiple objects detection tool, you should set the maximum number of objects within the analyzed zone. Exceeding this number leads to triggering the tool.

Triggering start event. When the number of objects becomes less than the specified value, the Triggering end event is generated.

Object classAll classes

Select the object class that must trigger the detection tool. The default value is All classes.

  • When you create the Entrance In Area detection tool below the Object Tracker and select the Person value, the detection tool won't trigger if it detects the movement of several people nearby.
  • When you create the Entrance In Area detection tool below the Category: Vehicle detection tools, the Object class parameter must have the All classes value.

By default, the entire frame is the detection area. In the preview window, you can specify the detection areas using the anchor points Image Added (see Configuring the Detection Zone).

To save the parameters of the detection tool, click the Apply Image Added button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel Image Added button in the zone decreases below the specified value, the End Time of Detection Tool Trigger event is generated.
