1. Run VLC Media Player.
2. Select the Open Network Stream... itemin the Media menu.

3. In the appeared window go to the Capture Device tab.

4. From the Capture mode drop-down list, select the Desktop value.
5. Set the required frame rate value for the capture in the corresponding field.
6. In the Play drop-down list, select the Stream value. As a result, the Stream Output window will appear.

7. Click the Next button.
8. In the appeared window, select the RTSP value from the New destination drop-down list and click the Add button.

9. Go to the RTSP tab.
10. Specify the port and the path to the stream, if necessary.

11. Click the Next button.
12. Specify the parameters of video transcoding and click the Next button.

13. Click the Stream button in the appeared window.

After that, you can configure Axxon One toreceive the RTSP stream and record it to the archive (see Configuring connection of devices via RTSP and Configuring recording to an archive).
