The You can configure the video image is configured in the UI → Camera → VIDEOPLAYER section in the following way:

1. By default, the camera events panel is displayed in the mobile app (see Viewing camera events in the AxxonNet iOS mobile client). To hide the events panel, turn off the Show events toggle.

2. Select the playback format: 

   1. H264—less resource-intensive than mjpeg and supports the H.264 and H.265 codecs, the video is transmitted via the RTSP protocol.

      To ensure the operation of this playback format, it is necessary to configure the RTSP Server (for Axxon PSIM, see Configuring the RTSP Server module. For Axxon One, see Configuring an the RTSP Serverserver).

      
      

   2. MJPEG—the frame-by-frame compression method. Its main feature is the compression of every separate video stream frame by means of the JPEG image compression algorithm.

      You cannot go to the virtual PTZ mode when playing back a video in MJPEG format (see Working with fisheye video cameras in AxxonNet iOS mobile client).

      
      

3. In the Stream parameter, select the video stream quality:

   1. First—the first camera stream.
   2. Light (lowest bitrate)—the stream with the lowest bitrate.
   3. Best quality—the stream with maximum quality (maximum bitrate).
