Device To configure the device connection via SNMP is configured on the SNMP protocol, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel of the SNMP Device

Configure device connection as follows:

1. In the IP address field, specify the IP address of the device.
2. In the Port field, specify the connection port of the device.
3. From the Version drop-down list, select the version of the SNMP protocol of the connected device.

4. Go to the settings panel of the SNMP Device object.

5. Specify the device IP address (1).
6. Specify device ID in the Enterprise OID (trap v.1 only) (2) field.

7. Select the version of SNMP protocol supported by the connected device from the Version drop-down list (3).

   The SNMP version is selected according to the device specifications (see official reference guides for the device).

   
   
   1. For V1 version:In the Community field, enter group affiliation password (4)the V1 and V2 versions of the protocol, in the Community field, specify the group membership password.

   2. For V2 version:

      For V3 version:
      Select SNMP Wrapper user from the V3 version of the protocol, from the User drop-down list, select the required user (4, see also Configuring of users).

8. To save changes click the Apply button (6).

10. In the Enterprise OID field, enter the device identification number.
11. In the Search algorithm section, select:
    1. IP Enterprise OID to use the device's IP address and ID to search for the device.
    2. Enterprise OID only to use only the device's ID to search for the device.
    3. IP only to use only the device's IP address to search for the device.
12. Click the Apply button to save the changes.
