The requirements for cameras that will work with the Fire detection and Smoke detection modules are shown in the following table.

If the area of interest is specified on the video image, then the above requirements are relevant for it, and not for the entire frame (see Configuring the Fire detection and Smoke detection modules). Correct operation of the Fire detection and Smoke detection isn't guaranteed if you use a video stream or frames that were masked before they got into Axxon PSIM by an IP camera or similar means and methods. |
