The Traffic detection module analysis module is used to determine the general characteristics of the traffic in general and each vehicle in particular.

The Traffic detection module analysis module has the following functions:

1. Detection of a vehicle in the operation area of the detection tool.
2. Detection of the road congestion and decrease in road capacity Determining the total number of vehicles that passed in each lane.
3. Saving the date and time of vehicle registration.
4. Determining the class of the vehicle.
5. Calculating the total number of vehicles of each class.
6. Determining the speed of the vehicle using the video image processing algorithm.
7. Determining the speed of the vehicles moving in a specific lane.
8. Determining the average speed of traffic.
9. Determining the average speed of vehicles in the following classes:
   1. passenger car;
   2. truck shorter than 12 m;
   3. truck longer than 12 m;
   4. bus.
10. Determining the distance of up to 255 m between the vehicles.
11. Determining the road congestion.
12. Registration of violations of certain traffic rules.
    1. exceeding the speed limit;
    2. entering an oncoming lane;
    3. stopping violations;
    4. backing run;
    5. driving forbidden types of vehicle.
13. Detection of intentional stopping of vehicle on the roadway, on highways, as well as in other places where stopping and parking is prohibited.
14. Automatic detection of the drop in the average speed of the traffic.
15. Detection of movement in the prohibited direction relative to the specified borders.
16. Determining the class of the vehicle.
    1. Light:
       1. Car.
       2. Car with trailer.
    2. Average:
       1. Minibus.
       2. Truck up to five tons.
    3. Truck:
       1. Small biaxial bus.
       2. Two-axle truck.
       3. Three-axle truck.
       4. Special vehicle.
    4. Large vehicle:
       1. Large biaxial bus.
       2. Tram.
       3. Trolleybus.
       4. Truck or bus with trailer.
       5. Large special vehicle.
    5. Mega large:
       1. Mega large bus.
       2. Mega large truck.
    6. Moto:
       1. Motorcycle/moped/quad/tricycle.
       2. Bicycle.
       3. Scooter.
    7. Special transport:
       1. Special car.
       2. Special minibus.
       3. Special truck.
       4. Other.
    8. Dump truck:
       1. Two-axle dump truck.
       2. Three-axle dump truck.
       3. Four-axle dump truck.
17. Registration of exceeding the speed limit.
18. Detection of traffic accidents.
19. Detection of lost cargoDetecting traffic jams.

You can use the following tools to create reports on results of the detection tool operation:

1. WEB Report System PSIM module. This module isn't included in the Auto PSIM distribution package and must be installed separately (see WEB Report System PSIM).
2. The Traffic Monitor object. Configuration of this object is described in The Traffic Monitor interface object setup. Working with the Traffic Monitor is described in Operator's Guide.
