titleAttention!

Object Tracking tracking is available if :

  • the object tracker is activated for this camera (see General information on the standard detection sub-tools);
  • the Video Motion Detection tool is activated (see Configuring the Motion detection);
  • a camera has at least one

    of the Embedded Analytic tools is activated (see General information about embedded detection tools

    source of metadata (see Metadata database).

    Object tracking performs has the following functions:

    1. Recognizes recognizes the presence of a moving object and dynamically marks it with a transparent rectangle on the video image.;
    2. Displays displays the trajectory track of the object's movement.

    Motion is detected based on the gradient of the inner-frame time gradient difference of the video image’s difference between framesimage.

    To enable object tracking, select select Show tracking in the viewing tile context menu of the Surveillance window.

    Object tracking functions will are now be activatedenabled.

    To disable object tracking, click select Hide tracking in the viewing tile context menu of the Surveillance window.

    If you have created a Scene Analytics detection tool for this video camera (see Functions of Scene Analytics detection tools), then you can see the detection parameters created at least one standard detection sub-tool for a given camera (see Standard sub-detectors), the parameters of the detection tool (areas, lines) in Live Video mode along with object tracking are displayed in the camera window when viewing live video.

    Areas to be excluded from surveillance Skip areas are outlined in dotted black and green line while , detection areas are outlined in black and gray line.

    If an ANPR detection tool has been created you created a license plate recognition tool for a camera , the license plates within the video image will be outlined (see Category: Vehicle), license plate is outlined in the video.

    Note
    titleAttention!

    To ensure correct display of the outline , set the camera's Video Buffering parameter with of a license plate, you must specify the Video buffering parameter of this camera in the range of 500–1000 (see see The Camera object).

    If you created a face detection tool has been created for a camera , all faces within the video image will be outlined(see Category: Face), a face is outlined in the video.

    If you created a pose detection tool for a camera (see Configuring the Pose Detection) has been created for a cameraHuman pose detector), a human skeleton is highlighted over outlined in the video image.
