On the Detection Tools tab, you can check events of detection tools. To do this, do the following:

  1. In the list of detection tools, select the detection tool which events you want to check.

    Note
    titleAttention!

The detection tool must be enabled and configured.

  2. Reproduce an event upon the occurrence of which the detection tool must display the frame in the event feed: start of motion in the frame, camera rotation, sending sound to an audio device, and so on.

If the detection tool is configured correctly, frames from the camera that corresponds to the detection tool are displayed in the event feed, indicating the time they were received.

Info
titleNote
  • If archive recording isn't configured for the camera that corresponds to the detection tool (see Configuring recording to an archive), then there are no frames in the events from the detection tool, because frames are taken from archive recordings.
  • If a detection tool has a start and end event, the current state of such a detection tool is monitored.
