To perform forensic search for motion in area:

  1. In the Viewing TileSurveillance window, define specify the area you want to be analyzed analyze during the search in accordance with the selected condition.

    The nodes anchor points of an area are connected by a two-colored dotted line.

    By default, an area is defined by 4 nodes four anchor points with the coordinates (30%, 30%), (70%, 30%), (70%, 70%) and (30%, 70%) as percentages of the width and height of the frame, respectively. 

    To edit an area, use the following actions.

    Position Hover the cursor on a node and hold over an anchor point and, holding down the left mouse button while you , move the mouse

  2. Select the metadata source if there are several sources for this video camera. This parameter will not be isn't displayed if there is only one source.

  3. Specify any number of additional parameters by clicking , if necessary (see Configure the search parameters).

  4. Set the search interval (see Setting a search interval).
  5. Click the Search button.

    Once launchedstarted, the search can be stopped at any time. To do this, click the Stop button which appears instead of the Search button.

The found moments will be are displayed in the search results panel.
