Saving a search query allows you to:

• quickly retrieve its go to search results;
• apply search criteria to other cameras.

To save a search query, specify a its name (1) and click the Save button (2). After this, the tab for the search query becomes available in the lower - right corner of the viewing tile in Archive mode Surveillance window (see Viewing the results of a saved search query).

To apply the saved search criteria to another camera 's archive, switch the camera to the Archive Search mode and select the required search query.

Changes are not saved until the you click the Save button is clicked. If the query name is changed, the query is saved under the new name and the old, unchanged query remains available.
