  • You can create detection tools and sub-tools for enabled and disabled cameras if camera video streams are enabled (see Configuring video stream settings).
  • You cannot create detection sub-tools if the parent detection tools don't have the settings applied (you must click the Apply button).

For other detection tools and their sub-tools, you cannot create identical detection tools and their sub-tools for one camera.

  1. Select the Settings tab Detection Tools.
  2. Below the required camera, click Create…. The list of available categories of detection tools will be displayed (see General information about detection tools detectors and their sub-toolsdetectors).
  3. Select a detection tool.

    A window in which you can configure a detection tool opens:

  2. Below the created detection tool, click Create…. The list of available sub-tools is displayed.

  3. Select a sub-tool. A window in which you can configure a sub- tool opens.

  1. Change the values of the parameters in the settings of one detection tool/sub-tool.

  2. Click the button in the lower right corner.
  3. Set the checkbox next to the required cameras with the same type of the detection tool/sub-tool. To quickly select a large number of cameras with the same type of the detection tool/sub-tool, press the Shift key, select the first and the last cameras for which you want to change settings of a detection tool/sub-tool. The checkbox will be set for all selected cameras with the same type of the detection tool/sub-tool when you select any of them.

    You cannot bulk change detection areas (see Configuring a detection area) and ignore skip areas (see Configuring a skip area).

  4. Click the Apply button. The number of cameras with the same type of detection tool/sub-tool for which the settings are applied is indicated in brackets.
