Face recognition events are registered in the System log (see see System log).

These events can also be displayed on the Event Board (see see Working with Event Boards)  or or Dialog Board (see Working with Dialog Board).

If you enable the age and gender recognition in the settings of the detection tool (see Configuring the Face detector TVConfiguring the Face detector VAConfiguring the Face detector VI), this information is also displayed on the Event Board and saved in the System log.

If the Surveillance window is linked to the Event Board (see see Linking cells), you can double-click an event to start the search of the captured face in the archive.

If you have created any lists of faces, configured an alarm initiation, and linked the Surveillance window to the Dialog Board (see see Examples of macros used when working with lists of faces), when a face from the list is recognized, the following information is displayed on the board:

  1. Reference photo from a list of faces.
  2. Zoomed in image of the recognised face in the frame.
  3. Additional information about the person, and similarity percentage between the recognized face and a reference photo.

If the Dialog Board has a portrait orientation, its lower part displays the alarm video.

The Alert panel (see see Alert panel) also displays:

  1. Reference photo.
  2. Thumbnail preview of the source recognition video.
  3. Name of the list of faces.
  4. Similarity percentage.

You can search for recognized faces both in the archive of a single camera (see Search for similar face) and simultaneously and simultaneously in the archive of several cameras (see see Simultaneous search in the archive of several cameras).

You can set the system to mask recognized faces from viewing (see see Masking faces).
