Starting with Detector Pack 3.12, a A demo license has been added to the VL Analytics Pack add-on (see Installing DetectorPack add-ons). Demo license is valid for 30 days after installation on one Server or a virtual machine.

To activate a license for the Object Tracker VL (see Configuring the Object Tracker VL), do the following:

  1. Request EID and ProductID fromRequest EID and ProductID from the technical support.

    EID and ProductID are  and ProductID are linked with the MAC address of the Server. If the MAC address changes, you need to request EID and ProductID againrequest EID and ProductID again.

     

  2. Open the license.conf file.

  3. Enter the received received EID and  and ProductID.

  4. Save the file.

  5. Run the FingerprintViewer file. You will receive the the FingerPrint data data.

  6. Go to the the website.

  7. Log in using the received received EID.

  8. Fill in the user registration data.

  9. Click the the Save button button.
  10. Click the the Activate button to  button to activate the license.

  11. In the the Activatee EmailEmail field, specify the email address to confirm the license activation. The licenseFile.v2c file with license data will be sent to the specified email address.

  12. In the the Device FingerPrint field field, specify the the FingerPrint data data.
  13. Click the Complete Activation button.
  14. sudo cp /opt/AxxonSoft/DetectorPack/VLSdk/gpu/data/licenses-archive/license.conf /

    Place the licenseFile.v2c v2c file in the required directory.

    Activate the license.

  15. Make sure the license is successfully activated. If the Server is connected to the internet, the license will be checked automatically.

If the Server doesn't have an internet connection, do the following:

  1. Do steps 2–52–5, 14 –15 on the Server where the license will be used.
  2. Do steps 1, 6–136–13, 16 15 on any computer connected to the internet.
  3. Click the View License Certificate button button.
  4. Download the license file by clicking the Save License button button.
