the parameters

To configure create the Move From Area To Areafrom area to area detector, do the following:

  1. Create the required
    2. detection tool
  2. detector and specify its parameters (
    3. see 
  3. see Configuring detectors and their sub-detectors).
  4. Below the created

  5. detector,
    6. click 
  6. click Create… → Move
    7. From Area To Area
  7. from area to area.

By default, the detection tool detector is enabled and set to generate events when an object leaves one area and enters another area.

If necessary, you can change the detection tool detector parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

The parameter is taken into account only if the the Trigger on group of objects parameter  parameter is enabled.

This is the time period during which the detection tool detector waits for the next objects after the first object in the group is detected. If the specified number of objects (specified in the the Number of alarm objects parameter parameter) are detected within this time period, the detection tool detector generates an event. If no additional objects are detected within the specified time period, the detection tool detector doesn't generate an event. 
Specify the time period in seconds when events will be held when responding to a group of objects. The value must be in the range [0, 86400]

Maximum object height100

Specify the maximum object height as a percentage of the frame size for the detection tool detector to generate an event. The value must be in the range [0.05, 100]

If the detection tool detector detects the first person and detects the others within two seconds, these people are considered a group, and the detection tool detector generates an event.

To save the parameters of the detection tooldetector, click the Apply  button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel  button.

Configuring detection areas

To configure detection areas, do the following:

  1. In the preview window, specify two areas. The
    2. detection tool
  2. detector generates an event if any object moves from one area to the other in the specified direction.
    By default,

  3. the areas are located on the right side and the left side of the video image.
