In the Axxon PSIM, you can correct (dewarp) convert video from fisheye cameras in the Video Surveillance Monitor video surveillance monitor as well as in all camera windows opened when viewing video through other interfaces, for instance,
...
through the Event Log (refer to Event control via Event Viewer),
...
when searching by captions (refer
...
to Search in the captions database),
...
and so on.
You can select the conversion type Conversion of video from fisheye cameras when displaying it on the video surveillance monitor is possible in Axxon PSIM. The conversion type is selected when adding a camera to the Monitor (see Selecting and configuring video cameras). To use this feature option, specify the lens type and fish eye fisheye camera location position when configuring it in Axxon PSIM in the following way:
Select the Standard fisheye lens valuein the From the Lens type dropdown list if this is a fish eye camera (2). If , select:
Standard for standard fisheye lens.
If you use a camera with
panamorphic lens
, then select its type in this dropdown list.
With some settings, there can be some artifacts at the top of video for a standard fisheye lens. If there are such artifacts, then select the Autocalibration in this dropdown list.
