Installing the environment for license keys



License activation and update

The Sentinel LDK Run-time environment is required for the operation of the license keys In order for the license keys of the Abandoned object detector VI (Street) (see Abandoned object detector VI (Street)). The environment is installed automatically with the VI Analytics Pack add-on (see Installing DetectorPack add-ons). 

To install the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment manually, do the following:

  1. Download the haspdinst_EOAWT.exe installer.

  2. Run the command line as the system administrator.

  3. Run the haspdinst_EOAWT.exe -i -fi -fss command.

  4. Restart the Sentinel LDK License Manage service or restart the OS.

When the environment is successfully installed, the Sentinel Admin Control Center web application opens in a web browser at http://127.0.0.1:1947/.

Installation of the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment is complete.

License activation and update

Before installing the software key, you must install the Sentinel LDK Run-time environment.

To to operate, as well as to activate/update the license, do the following:

  1. Move the data folder from the /DetectorPack/VISdk directory to the directory containing the executable file AxxonOne.exe.

  2. Download the archive.

  3. Unzip the archive into the directory where the Abandoned object detector VI (Street) is located.

  4. Open a terminal.

  5. Navigate to the directory containing the archive contents:

    cd /AxxonSoft/DetectorPack/VLSdk/distrib

    where you should replace /AxxonSoft/DetectorPack/VLSdk with the actual path on your system.

  6. Grant permissions for the driver installation script execution:

    chmod 777 install.sh

  7. Run the driver installation script:

    sudo ./install.sh

  8. Open a browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:1947/checkin.html.

  9. On the page that opens, in the Select File line, select the key with v2c extension.

    To get the key with v2c extension, you need to contact an AxxonSoft manager.

  10. Click Apply File.
  11. If activation was successful, the key is displayed at http://127.0.0.1:1947/devices.html.

After activation, in the /SafeNet Sentinel/Sentinel LDK directory, the installed folder appears.

The license activation/update is complete.

Deleting the license

To delete the license, do the following:

  1. Delete the license file with v2c extension from the installed folder in the /SafeNet Sentinel/Sentinel LDK directory.
  2. Restart the OS.

  • When you delete the license, only the key is deleted. All license restriction counters remain in the secure storage.
  • If you return the key to the root directory, it will be fully restored. Its counters will continue counting license restrictions from the moment when they stopped when the license file with v2c extension was deleted. The validity time of the license continues to count down even when the key is missing.

The license deletion is complete.
