Monitor

Select the value from the list

Sets the number of the physical monitor, the coordinates for which are set. The monitors are numbered in the order of their physical location from left to right, from top to bottom. The 1st monitor is the one in the upper left corner regardless of which monitor is set as main or what number the monitor has in OS.

In the figure below, the monitor numbers in OS are given in gray while the numbers in Axxon PSIM are red.

Display

Select the value from the list

Sets the mode for processing the video signals from the cameras by the graphics card

Opengl

  • Opengl is selected by default. This mode uses the most advanced Windows graphics libraries for rendering 2D and 3D graphics;
  • Direct3D is the recommended mode that uses the most advanced Windows graphics libraries. Use this mode when it is necessary to display the video from the fisheye cameras or the signal decoded using Intel QuickSync technology;
  • DirectDraw is used if the graphics card doesn't support Direct3D;
  • Softwarevideo signals aren't processed by the graphics card. It is used if Axxon PSIM is installed on a virtual platform

Min

Show captions

Set the checkbox

Shows the captions for the cameras of the Monitor interface window.

In large distributed systems, we recommend disabling captions on those monitors where you don't want to show captions.

This checkbox also affects the display of frames around detected objects or abandoned objects (see Smart video detection tools operation) when viewing archive:

Smoothing
