The basic function of the remote Client client is receiving video and audio signals from video surveillance system Serversservers, viewing video and audio monitoring, signals, listening to audio signals, and managing cameras, microphones, and PTZ units control via devices by using various components of the Operator operator's user interface (video surveillance monitor, audio player, map, PTZ window etc., and so on).

To configure the Remote Client, follow do the stepsfollowing:

1. Register the Computer object, which corresponds to the Remote Client, and set the interaction parameters with the Servers, Remote Admin Workstations, Remote Clients of the distributed video surveillance system on the administering server (see Configuring the Axxon PSIM™software system with distributed architecture of the digital video surveillance system).
2. Configure the User interface by creating user interface. To do this, create screen(s) and setting up the Remote Client , configure the access to them . The screen(s) should contain using the Remote Client, and place the user interface components: video surveillance monitor, audio player, map etc, and so on on the screens.
