The hidden archive isn't displayed on the V ideo Video surveillance monitor, but it is stored on the hard disk in the same way as the main archive. By default, the operator has permissions rights to view the hidden archive as well as to set or unset the "hidden" label to the archive records.

To limit the operator permissions rights on certain operations with hidden archives, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel of the User permissionsrights object.
2. On the Main tab, select the Archive group.

3. Clear the Allow viewing hidden archive checkbox (1) to prevent the operator from viewing the hidden archive. 
4. Clear the Allow checking "hidden" archive checkbox (2) to prevent the operator from hiding archive videos.
   
5. Clear the Allow unchecking "hidden" archive checkbox (3) if the operator must not have permissions rights to unhide archive videos.
   
6. Click the Apply button (4).
