The Monitoring PSIM software  is installed as a part of the an extension to the Axxon PSIM software software. Information about the compatibility of the Axxon PSIM software versions and Monitoring PSIM is  is presented in the General information about product releases and versions compatibility section.

 of control software configuration, do the following:

1. In the root directory of the distribution package, run the setup.exe executable file.
2. To continue the installation process, click Next click the Next button.
   
3. Read carefully the terms of the license agreement carefully. Then set the radio button switch to the I accept the terms of the License agreement position and and click the Next button.
   
4. Set Select theServer of  of control installation type and click Nextand click the Next button.
   
5. If Axxon PSIM software PSIM is installed as a service, and it is necessary that you want to start Monitoring PSIM is also installed as  as a service, then set the Install Monitoring PSIM as a service checkbox  checkbox and click the Next button (for more details, see see General information about Monitoring PSIM PSIM as a Service).
   

6. Select the database MS SQL Server database server and specify the authorization connection parameters for connection. For more details, see Installation of Axxon PSIM™ as a Server/Remote Administrator's workplace.. To To continue the installation process, click the Next button.

   In the Select database Server from the drop-down list field, you must specify the 127.0.0.1 value instead of computer name or "(local)" value, e.g. "127.0.0.1\SQLEXPRESS". Otherwise Server of control will lose the IP address without using the computer names and local value. Otherwise, the Server of control software loses connection with its local database when the network cable is disconnected.

   

7. In the Database field, specify the name of the database or select it on the right part of the window in the list of existing databases , which are created in the server, from the right and click the << button. Then clickClick the Next button.

   By default, the name of the database is "MonitorSSTV", and its files will be are stored in the SQL Server folder.

   

8. Click the Install button to start the installation process. 
   
   As a result,

   the necessary components of the Monitoring PSIM software package will be copied to hard drive of your computer

   the system starts copying the required files of Monitoring PSIM to the computer's hard disk.

9. After all software components are successfully copied on your hard drive, the message about the completion of the installation process will be displayed. Click Finishthe system successfully copies the Monitoring PSIM components, the message about completing the installation process is displayed. Next, click the Finish button.
