The To configure the Queue length detection module can be configured on the settings program module, use the settings panel of the Queue length detection object created under object that is created on the basis of the Camera object in on the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog boxsettings window.

Configure To configure the Queue length detection module as followsprogram module, do the following:

  1. Go to the setting panel of the Queue length detection

Setting the Area of interest is

  21. a mandatory requirement
    1. the mandatory condition for the

  27. Set the parameters of the program module
  28. parameters
  29. :
    1. Go to the Parameters tab (2).
  30. Set
    1. In the
  31. detection sensitivity field in a
    1. Detection sensitivity [0.0, 1.0] field, set the detector's sensitivity in conventional units in the range from 0 to 1
  32. with up
    1. to two decimal places
  33. (1)
    1. . The higher the sensitivity,
  34. the less significant objects will be considered as a queue, i.e.
    1. the more "small" alarms are referred to the queue, that is, the algorithm
  35. will
    1. starts to react to more inconsiderable motion.
  36. So
    1. Hence, if you set the minimal sensitivity value, only considerable
  37. change
    1. changes of the scene
  38. will
    1. can be analyzed by the queue length
  39. detection if the minimum value of the
    1. detection
  40. sensitivity is specified
    1. .

    2. In the Periodicity of occupancy measurement

  41. ,
    1. (s) field, specify

  42. a
    1. the time period in seconds for counting the number of people in the observed area

  43. (2)
    1. . The minimum value of this parameter is

  44. an
    1. the interval between frames of the analyzed video stream

  45. ,
    1. but

  46. not
    1. cannot be less than one second

  47. and not more than
    1. , the maximum is 3600 seconds. The value of the parameter depends on the scene characteristics. For example, if

  48. a
    1. the queue in the

  49. field of video camera view is not changing
    1. camera FOV doesn't change for a long time,

  50. than
    1. the given parameter

  51. value
    1. can be reasonably large.

  52. It is not recommended to specify
    1. We don't recommend specifying the value of this parameter for more than 3-5 minutes for the correct operation of the algorithm on the average scene.

      Info
      titleNote

The more often you measure the occupancy

  53. is measured
    1. , the greater the load on the system.

    2. Set the Reduce large resolution checkbox to create and process the new frame consisting of even lines of the initial
  54. frame (3)
    1. one when an ordinary frame appears.
    2. In the Queue size
  55. ,
    1. (person) field, enter the minimum
  56. number of people in a
    1. queue size required for
  57. triggering the detection tool (4)
    1. the detector to generate an event.
    2. In the Frames processed per second [0.016, 100]

  58.  field
    1. field, enter the number of frames per second that the

  59. detection tool will process (5)
    1. detector processes. The higher the value, the more accurate the

  60. detection tool
    1. detector's operation, but the higher the load on the processor.

  61. All events

  62. can be found
