User can inherit By default, the user inherits the department access level on default. If it's required not to inherit the department access level (levels), do the following:
- Go to editing a user (see the Going to user editing section).
- Click the right mouse button in the Right-click the access levels list.
- Select the Basic AL -> Do not inherit department AL item in the opened functional menu.

It's impossible to delete inherited access level if a user haven't got own access levels. In this case it's required to assign own access level to a user and then disable inheritance of department access level – see the Assigning own access level to a user section. |

- If the user does not have any other access levels assigned except the inherited, the Search access level window will be opened. In that window, select one or several access levels (see Working with the Search access level window). As a result, the inherited access level will be removed from the list.
- To restore the inheritance of department access levels,

- Click the right mouse button in access levels list.
- Select the Basic AL -> select the Inherit department AL item in the opened functional function menu.
As a result the inherited access level (levels) will be added to the list.
Configuring of department access level inheritance is completed.
