The repair restore mode is used to re-install all INTELLECT™ software componentsreinstall all Intellect components. Use this function when, for example, some files were accidentally deleted from the installation directory.

To launch repair the restore mode, restart INTELLECT™ software installation from the installation CD, you need to restart Intellect installation without deleting the previous version of the program. To restore Intellect correctly, make sure that the distribution package is located in the same path as it was during installation or that the operating system is configured to save the *.msi files in the cache.

To ensure that INTELLECT™ software is installed correctly all applications should be closed before the installation reinstall Intellect correctly, close all applications on the computer before the reinstallation startup.

To repairINTELLECT™ softwarerestore Intellect, do the following:

  1.  Open the folder containing the unpacked distribution package.

    Here we describe how to restore Intellect using the installer. The same process can be started using the uninstaller: open Windows Start menu → Settings → Apps, find Intellect in the list and click Uninstall. The uninstaller window will open, select the Repair option and proceed according to this manual.


  2. Run the Setup.exe executable file used for running Intellect installation

  3.  Insert the INTELLECT installation disk in the CD-ROM drive and display its contents in a separate window of your PC.

  4. Run setup.exe file, designed for running the Intellect software install program.
    As a result, the Select Action Installation wizard dialog box is displayed.

    The following files may be run for repairing the restoring Intellect software instead of Setup.exe:
    1. Product.msi – to repair the INTELLECT™—to restore Intellect;
    2. Redist.exe – —to install additional components.

  5. Choose the language of installation dialogs and click the Install button.

  6. Select the Edit / Restore To select INTELLECT™ software components repair mode, select Repair installation type and click the Next .
    The Repairing Intellect dialog box is displayed.

    The Software Installation dialog box is displayed.

    As soon as all files are copied, the Repair Complete dialog box is displayed.

  7. Set the checkboxes next to the components that need to be restored and click the Install button.

    When the restore process is finished, the Installation complete dialog box will be displayed.
