Configuration of Intellect™ system system objects generally includes the following stages:
Select an object
...
To select an object, do the following:
- open Open the Hardware tab containing the objects tree;.
- select Select an object in the objects tree by clicking it with the mouse.
Create an object
...
To create an object, do the following:
- open Open the Hardware tab containing objects tree;
tab containing the objects tree. - Select select a parent object in the objects tree, which should be used as a basis for the creation of a daughter child object;.
- display Display the context menu by clicking the right mouse button and select Create object;.
- select Select the type of a new object using the corresponding second level menu; .
As a result of the above operations, the object settings panel will display an identification panel for the new object. - specify
Specify a unique identification number in the Number field (1) and the unique name of a new object
,(the Microphone object in the example on the figures
,) in the Name field

If the identifier or the name already exist in the system, the corresponding message is displayed on the panel, and the field is highlighted in red.
- Click click the Apply button to complete the object creation process;.
As a result, a new
daughterchild object will be created based on the selected parent system object.
Editing.Info title Note If the parent system object has one or more child objects, then you can expand the list of the child objects using the icon, and collapse the list using the icon.
Edit an object
Editing means any modification of the object settings, i.e.

changes in the object parameter values. The
...
settings panel of the system object is the key configuration instrument of the object setup.
To edit an object, do the following:
- In the objects tree, select a system object the parameters of which are to be modified should be edited by clicking the object (1);.

- click the Apply button to save all changes (3).
Deleting.
To delete an object, do the following:- select an object for deletion (1) and right-click to display the context menu on the monitor (2);
- select the Delete object item in the menu;
Now a dialog box requesting confirmation of the object deletion will appear on the monitor. - Click the OK button.
Figure below shows the result of an object deletion (objects tree contents after the object has been deleted). The object, in the example on figures the object is Microphone, which has been deleted is no longer displayed in the objects tree.
Changing the parent object.- select an object for deletion (1) and right-click to display the context menu on the monitor (2);
The object name can be changed, however, if an object with the same name already exists, the corresponding message is displayed when applying the settings:
- Click the Apply button to save the changes (3).
Change the parent object
When changing the parent object, you can move the created object in the objects tree of

Intellect without losing the settings.
To change the parent object, do the following:
- Select the system object the position of which is to should be changed in the objects tree.
Select a new parent object in the drop-down list on the settings panel of the object. The name of the drop-down list
isis the same as the type of the parent object.

INTELLECT™ is toIf the object is moved to another computer,
–Intellect should be restarted on both computers
moved—on the one the object is moved to and on another the object is moved from. As a result, the object is displayed in the objects tree of the selected parent object.
Copy objects
The copy function enables cloning the objects created in Intellect objects tree (for copying objects using a template, see also The Save function).

and its child objects: Camera, Sensor, Relay, Embedded detection tool, Face detection tool, Detection zone, Tracker, VMDA detection tool and Captioner. For other objects this function is not guaranteed. |
To copy the objects, do the following:
- Select the object that should be copied in the objects tree.
- To copy the object press the Ctrl+C key combination.
- Select the parent object on the basis of which the copy of the selected object should be created or one of the objects created on the basis of the parent object.
If the copy should be created on the basis of the same parent object as the source object, then this step can be skipped. - Paste the object using one of the following key combinations:
- Ctrl+V—paste only the copied object.
- Ctrl+Shift+V—paste the copied object with all child objects.
The object or objects will be created with the default names, and they will be assigned the next free ID in order. The parameters of the created objects will be the same as those of the corresponding source objects.

Once copied, object can be pasted multiple times. The copied object will be stored in the clipboard until Intellect restart, or until the clipboard clipping is replaced with a new copied object. |
Enable or disable objects
In order to disable an object, do the following:
- Select an object in the objects tree (1).
- On the settings panel, set the Disable checkbox (2) and click the Apply button (3).
- As a result, the symbol will appear next to the disabled object (4).
To enable an object, set the Disable checkbox clear in the settings panel and click the Apply button.

Disabling an object also disables all of its child objects. |
Delete an object
To delete an object, do the following:
- Select an object or a folder that should be deleted (1) and right-click to display the context menu (2).
Select the Delete object item in the menu.
Info title Note You can also select the object that should be deleted and press Ctrl+Del instead of using the context menu.
As a result, a dialog box requesting confirmation of the object deletion will appear on the monitor.
Click the OK button.
The figure below displays the result of an object deletion (objects tree contents after the object was deleted). The deleted object (the Microphone object in the example) is no longer displayed in the objects tree.
