Frame colors of camera number and Surveillance window

This section describes the default parameters of the color indication of the Surveillance window border. They can be changed during the system configurationsee Configuring surveillance window frame color.

All indication schemes presented correspond only to main detector zones with no auxiliary zones taken into account. If the auxiliary camera detector zone has been armed or disarmed, the border around the video surveillance Surveillance window retains its colourcolor, but after an alarm event in the auxiliary zone the Surveillance window border becomes red. So, there is no indication of auxiliary detector zone arming and disarming for the camera by the frame of the Surveillance window. See also Indication of detection tool status.

Icons next to the camera number

The icon of video signal absence  appears under below the icon of "video camera number" only when there is no video signal. It can be in two cases: video camera is not connected or there is camera restart.

The last video frame or blue screen (depending on the video capture card) is displayed in the Video surveillance Surveillance window if there is no video signal.

The icon of the selected disk absence absence Image Modified appears over above the icon of "video camera number" only when  if disk for archive saving storing is not selected (see Selecting the disks for video archive storage).

The icon of the overloaded disk Image Added appears above the icon of "video camera number" if there are frames skipped during archive recording (it means, the FRAME_SKIPPED events are received, see CAM Camera). You can enable the indication of frames skipping with the ShowFrameSkippedStatus key, see Registry keys reference guide. 

When incorrect camera type is given, the icon of disconnect with the camera Image Removed camera Image Added appears over above the icon of "video camera number" and the frame of video surveillance Surveillance window becomes turns black.
