Registry Keys Reference Guide

The procedure for configuring automatic setting up the automatic cleanup of captured and recognized faces and related data archives differs depending on the storage mode (see Faces and related data storage modes).

If the UseFaceDB key is equal to 2 or 1, you should perform the following steps to configure the automatic cleanup of faces and related data archives:

  1. Open the Windows registry editor and go to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ITV\INTELLECT\FRS branch (1).

  2. Select, double-click and open the FaceDBFreeMB string parameter (2).
  3. In the Value data field, set the allowed archive size in megabytes (3).
  4. Click OK to save the changes (4).

Once the allowed archive size is exceeded, the FaceDB folders will be cleaned.

The oldest images are deleted by 1000.

If the UseFaceDB key is equal to 1 or 0, you should perform the following steps to configure the automatic cleanup of captured and recognized faces and related data archives:

  1. Go to the Hardware tab in the System Settings dialog box (1).
  2. Select the Face Recognition Server object in the objects tree (2).
    Image Added
  3. In the Keep archive of recognized faces (days) field, enter the time period (in days) for which the recognized faces and vectors archive is to be saved (3).

    Info
    titleNote

The table stores information for current day and the number of days as specified in the field. For example, if the Keep archive of recognized faces (days) parameter is set to 1, information for two days (today and yesterday) is stored in the face archive.

The Keep archive of recognized faces (days) parameter also affects the captured face archive depth. Both archives are cleaned every day at 00:00.

  4. Click Apply to save the changes (4).

Once the time specified by this option has expired, the old images and vectors are deleted from the database, i.e. every day at 00:00. All old data collected earlier than the specified period will be deleted.
